How Video Game Stocks Did This Week – March 12th 2021 – Stick Skills


Openly traded computer game stocks had another relatively tame week, with the significant exception of GameStop (GME).

Every week we track 8 business carefully connected to console-based computer game to see how they are carrying out: 3 publishers, 3 console makers, 1 seller, and 1 esports ETF.

Weekly efficiency is determined from the closing rate of a stock on Friday of the previous week (the marketplaces are closed on weekends) compared to it’s closing rate today.

As you can see, GameStop (GME) continued its wild flight almost doubling today with an upward relocation of 92% while the remainder of the computer game business we track saw a lot more tame relocations varying from -3.7% (Nintendo) to +1.8% (Microsoft).
